Jennifer Mason is an instructor in the GIS certificate program for UCLA Extension and a postdoctorate scholar in the Department of Geography at UCLA. She received her Ph.D. from Penn State (2018) and her M.S. from San Diego State (2011) with an emphasis on GIScience. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in geography from UCLA (2009), minoring in geospatial information systems and technology. Jennifer’s interests include topics surrounding uncertainty visualization, spatial cognition, user studies and design, geovisual analytics, and cartography.
