TextMapper is a free and open text geovisualization tool developed by Geospatial @ UCLA.

Users can upload any text into TextMapper to create professional visualizations that show the places mentioned, as well as their frequency and context. With the option to upload multiple blocks of text, users can quickly create compelling and beautiful animations that show the countries, states or cities mentioned in different texts. TextMapper brings the geography within text alive in an appealing and insightful way. Both visually and analytically TextMapper unlocks the geography contained in any text by extracting it from a cloud of words and turning it into elegant maps.
